Before you hire a mover,
read the scorecard.
Federal licensing, complaint history, safety records, and Google reviews — compiled into a single scorecard per company, pulled from sources most people never check on their own.
- Not paid by movers
- We don't sell leads
- No mover partnerships
The latest scorecards in our database
The most recent companies added or refreshed. Each page opens to the full scorecard with sources.
What each scorecard covers
Five factors, one published formula, applied identically to every company.
Licensing
Federal operating authority and insurance status
Complaints
FMCSA complaint history, types, and trends
Safety
BASICs scores, crash records, and inspections
Reviews
Public Google ratings, patterns, and review-profile analysis
Transparency
Website disclosures, BBB status, and claim checks
Some scorecards get a second look.
When a company's public record warrants deeper investigation — past enforcement actions, disputed scores, or notable findings that the formula alone can't capture — our editors add a manual review.
Manually-reviewed scorecards carry a dated editorial stamp, linked source documents, and a written note from the editors explaining what we found and why the score was adjusted.
Reviewed
Why Mover Scorecard exists
Four principles that shape every scorecard we publish.
Not a directory
We review a smaller set of movers more carefully, rather than listing thousands with surface-level data.
Independently created
Movers do not create, edit, or pay to influence their profiles. Every page uses the same methodology.
Evidence over marketing
We check licensing, complaints, safety data, and review patterns — not what a company says about itself.
No paid placements
Scores, rankings, and coverage are not for sale. We do not currently monetize this site.
About Mover Scorecard
Built by people with direct experience in the moving industry — operations, management, and moving-company workflows. We created this site because the public data about movers is genuinely useful, but scattered across government systems most consumers never visit.
Every company is scored with the same published formula. No paid placements. No endorsements. This site does not verify, endorse, or certify any company.
